If you are going after a major metro, your site structure could be city+niche.com, with subdivisions/metro areas (upper east side, financial district, diamond district, bowery, harlem, etc) as categories. Then, the posts with city/town + keyword, putting LSI's in the H's, and a MAX of 8-13 LSI's in the tags section. You can make main menu pages about the subdivisions/metro areas and pull some unique stuff from Wikipedia and a few other spots with a nofollow citation, and link directly to the category pages, treating those pages as pillar posts.

Then I'd take all of the locations for each city or state and create a drafted page out of them. One per page, but each would have their own custom field that would include a state or city. So then in the page template for this whole thing I'd run a loop on page drafts that would grab only the ones with the appropriate state or city custom field value.
Guest blogging purely for inbound links is a flawed strategy because the value of those links are going down. However, guest blogging for traffic is still an incredibly viable strategy. While that inbound link you get at the end of a guest post doesn’t have as much SEO value as it used to, it still has the value of exposing your content to a new audience.
Now that you have your initial pages/posts made and indexing has likely begun, it's time to set up a solution that will allow you to redirect that traffic wherever you want it to go. My recommendation, based on the fact that this is your first organic traffic network and you do not yet have the high-end tools to do really slick stuff, would be to get a free WP plugin that will allow you to redirect traffic based on visitors country.
No quad workout goes by without yours truly using some form of leg press, whether it be angled, vertical, or seated. So I wondered what would happen if I clicked back to the default editor. Would my content be gone? Hurray! The content was still there. Pootle Page Builder did not delete my content, it was just being overly cautious to ensure the user knows that the content seen in the default editor is not the content seen in the page builder. While that could be improved to synchronize the two views, this was much better than I initially thought.
If you're not already doing so, start broadcasting on Facebook Live. Users spend 3X more time watching live broadcasts than traditional videos on the platform, so start experimenting with live content if you're concerned about your organic reach. Advertise what you're doing on different platforms to generate buzz, broadcast for several minutes (at least) to help your broadcast get surfaced in the News Feed, and share authentic, behind-the-scenes content to attract and interest your viewers.
I had purchased a Standard license, which, as it turns out, does not include support for WordPress multisite. I have found multisite to be one of the greatest assets in quickly spinning up fresh WordPress sites for testing. I understand that this limitation was done intentionally to prevent customers from activating the plugin on numerous sites within a single network, but the user experience here was quite poor.
Since the only constant with Facebook (and the larger digital media landscape) is change, it’s always safest to focus on the digital channels you entirely own and control -- your website and blog. Spend the vast majority of your effort creating content (blog posts and long-form content such as ebooks, case studies, or videos) that will continue to garner inbound traffic, leads, and customers long after they’re first created. If you have time and budget, share those assets to Facebook for additional reach.
I understand building a theme-specific builder but why on earth would you build a theme-specific builder plugin that only works with one theme? At that point you’ve simply made it harder for your customers to get all the features of your theme without any added benefit. If Theme Fusion offered a whole suite of themes, having a builder plugin that works exclusively with their themes would make sense, but they don’t! They make one theme: Avada.

It is an overly broad generalization, but I’ve found that most developers that do not take the time to blend their own interfaces with the native WordPress interface, do not typically have great care for the overall user experience nor do they care greatly for WordPress itself. I cannot say if this holds true for the Visual Composer developers and, like I said, it is a very broad generalization, but it’s one I’ve found to be pretty accurate in my own experiences. It is one thing to strike out against standard user interfaces in order to create something better, and it is entirely something else to go drastically against style choices simply for the sake of it.
Ever wondered how some of those companies/websites could get such amount of traffic (hundreds of thousands of visitors) just in a single day? I don’t know about you and what you do to get your traffic, but since I’ve been in this search engine marketing game I know how hard it is (was) to get a decent amount of organic traffic to test different offers, and I always been curious how those other guys do that on such a huge massive scale.
